Enabling API Access for the TIBCO Cloud™ Integration - Connect API

TIBCO Cloud Integration - Connect has a separate API that allows you to manage objects for that capability, such as apps, flows, execution history, or organizations. TIBCO Cloud ™ User Authentication (SSO) is not supported with the TIBCO Cloud Integration - Connect API at this time. To use the API, you can establish a secondary basic authentication by selecting the Change API Password link on the Security dialog as shown in the following instructions. For additional details, see Security Settings.

To enable API access for TIBCO Cloud Integration - Connect:

  1. Log into TIBCO Cloud™ Integration.
  2. Navigate to the organization you want to access.
  3. Navigate to the Apps List page.
  4. Select Environment & Tools.
  5. Under Environment Settings, select Security Settings.
  6. From the Security page, select New Rule. A new row displays in the Rule table.
  7. Select the Rule Name field and enter a name for the rule.
  8. Mark the check box for API Access. When the box is enabled, it grants access to the TIBCO Cloud Integration - Connect API for the selected IP address range.
  9. Enter a starting and ending range of public IP addresses that should be granted access. To allow access to a single IP address, specify that address as both the starting and ending address. You can enter multiple rules with different sets of IP Addresses.
  10. In the panel on the left, select the Change API Password link.
  11. Create a password specifically for the API. When accessing the API you will use your regular TIBCO Cloud ™ username with this new password.
