Creating an Oracle Database Connection
To use an Oracle database, you must first create an Oracle database connection. The Oracle database connection contains the parameters required to connect to the Oracle database. The Oracle database connection is used by all the activities in the Oracle database category.

Familiarize yourself with the Oracle database before creating a connection.

Oracle database connector requires Oracle client libraries to function. Supplement the Oracle client libraries to the Oracle database connector. For more information, see Creating an Oracle Database Supplement.

- Procedure
- In TIBCO Cloud Integration, on the Connections tab, click Create, and perform one of the following actions:
To add a connection for the first time, click the Oracle Database card. Enter the connector name in the search field to search for a connector card.To add a new connection if you have existing connections, click the Add Connection link.
- In the Oracle Database dialog, enter the connection details. For field descriptions, see the Oracle Database Connection Details.
- To validate and save the connection, click Connect.
