Resetting Metadata for Text Connections
If you modify field names in the header row of a text file used by a Text File Connection, existing flows using that connection generate errors. Reset the metadata for the connection as follows:
- Select Connections from the menu.
- Select the affected connection to display the Edit Connection dialog.
- Select the Fields tab.
- In the pane on the left, locate the Entity associated with the updated text file.
- Select Refresh Schema from the Gear menu for that Entity.
Note: If you do not have a pre-existing target text file and you reset metadata, any fields you have manually configured are deleted.
Warning: Correct field links in any flows that referenced this Text File Connection. Flows using this connection may generate errors if they refer to field names that no longer exist.
